WEICON Aluminium Paint can be used universally on all metalic surfaces. It offers good protection against corrosion and is also used to touch up components. Upon contact with moisture, aluminium pigments form a dense, almost impermeable oxide layer on the surface. This can reach a thickness of up to 0,05 my and prevents further moisture penetration. That way, the component’s surface is protected effectively against corrosion. High abrasion resistance and a long colour guarantee are achieved by using so-called “non-leafing” pigments. These distribute themselves evenly throughout the entire coating upon application. This protects WEICON Aluminium Paint against abrasion and chemical effects after it has thoroughly hardened.
